HDB Lime Paint Cloud Stroke

Beige Feature Wall, 4-Room HDB

Bishan Street 24  ·  Completed Q4 2024

The client had recently obtained keys to a freshly painted BTO. The HDB standard white emulsion was flat and felt temporary — they wanted one wall in the living room that felt considered.

We specified Lime Paint in Perlite (#D8C9B5), a warm beige mineral tone, applied in three coats with a cloud stroke technique — soft, sweeping brushmarks that create a chalky, tactile depth. The wall now shifts beautifully between cool and warm depending on the time of day.

"We've had visitors ask three times if we imported the paint from Italy. It's Lime Paint from Plain Work."

Landed Lime Paint Cloud Stroke

Brutalist Kitchen, Horizon Hills

Horizon Hills, Johor Bahru  ·  Completed Q3 2024

A landed home owner with a clear vision — a kitchen that felt raw, functional, and unapologetically industrial. Stainless steel cabinetry, concrete flooring, and a single articulating wall lamp as the only decorative element. The walls needed to match that honesty.

We applied Lime Paint in a warm grey tone using cloud stroke technique — soft, sweeping brushmarks that add movement without competing with the steel. The matte mineral finish absorbs light instead of reflecting it, giving the kitchen a quiet, grounded atmosphere that balances the hard-edged cabinetry.

"Everyone asks if the walls are polished concrete. It's Lime Paint — three coats, done in a day."
— Homeowner, Horizon Hills

Commercial Lime Paint Cloud Stroke

Boutique Spa Interior, Keong Saik

Keong Saik Road  ·  Completed Q2 2024

A wellness concept in a conservation shophouse. The brief was a space that felt like a cocoon — enveloping, quiet, and deeply considered. Every surface had to contribute to the sense of calm. No shortcuts, no synthetic finishes.

We specified our Lapis colour (#2B3D52) in an ultra-smooth cloud stroke application — three coats layered to create a velvety depth with barely visible tonal variation. The dark blue absorbs the soft spa lighting and creates a serene atmosphere that guests describe as meditative.

"The walls feel like they're holding the room together — our guests always comment on the colour."
